THE TORRES STRAIT FORCE
Project Preview · 3:20A documentary project developed to honour the contribution of the Torres Strait Light Infantry Battalion, and the experiences, resilience and contribution of the women and children of the Torres Strait during the Second World War.
Developed through a long-standing engagement with communication, storytelling and multimedia in the Torres Strait, the project extends the Indigenous Translations body of work into long-form documentary storytelling.
Sizzle reel available. Public presentation subject to final rights and archive clearance.
The project received funding through the Australian Government's Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program.
